Know your rights day - legal advice at Balham Library
Tomorrow (Friday 18th May) South West London Law Centres, in partnership with Eversheds LLP, are hosting a ‘Know your rights day’ for Wandsworth residents at Balham Library.
The event will run from 10am-4:30pm, and there’ll be advice on debt, housing law (including landlord and tenant disputes) and employment law, with a range of interactive presentations throughout the day.
Sadiq would like to invite residents to a community coffee morning that will bring together local organisations who provide health care and services to older people in Tooting.
The free event will take place on Friday 25th May, from 10am to 1pm at Mushkil Aasaan Community Centre, 220-222 Upper Tooting Road, London, SW17 7EW (map).
Both Sadiq and the Mayor of Wandsworth will be present to welcome local residents who can then, over a cup of tea, visit stalls run by a variety of organisations for information about the type of care and services they provide.
