Sadiq is proud to have one of the nation's leading NHS hospitals, St George's, in his constituency. Since becoming an MP in 2005, Sadiq has actively campaigned for better access to local health services for all. By building strong working relationships with St George's Hospital, local GPs and other health services, Sadiq has helped local health services go from strength to strength. Sadiq's campaigns and hard work have resulted in cleaner hospitals, longer GP opening hours, new wards, clinics and facilities at St George's Hospital. In particular, Sadiq was an enthusiastic proponent of the smoking ban in all pubs and clubs. You can read more about this here.
