As Minister of State for Transport, getting Britain moving is central to Sadiq's agenda.

He also been involved in lobbying the Council to enforce more traffic calming measures and road safety measures (particularly for school children) are enforced. That's why Sadiq launched his Safer Streets Campaign which you can read more about here.

At a national level, Sadiq is at the centre of implementing the Government's low carbon transition plan which is committed to transforming Britain's economy into a greener and more sustainable one. By reducing emissions and investing more in new hybrid technologies, it is hoped that the economy and environment may benefit.
