As part of the NHS’s 60th Birthday celebrations Sadiq Khan MP visited staff and patients at St George’s hospital.   He presented the staff with a giant card to thank them for their hard work. 

On Monday 14TH July, Sadiq met and talked with staff and patients to celebrate the 60th anniversary, and as a token of gratitude from the local community, he presented the staff with a giant ‘Happy Birthday NHS’ card, signed by local residents.  

Sadiq also took the opportunity to meet with the Trust’s Chief Executive David Astley to discuss the ongoing improvements being made to local services.
