Sadiq took part in the opening ceremony of the new midwife-let maternity unit at St George's Hospital.

The unit has been named the Carmen Suite after Carmen Brooks-Johnson (pictured), a midwife at the hospital for more than 30 years, and provides mothers with a comfortable, safe place to deliver their babies without medical intervention.
