This weekend I once again hit the streets with local volunteers to talk to residents in Tooting. We had a great turn-out, despite the threat of freezing cold rain, and spoke to a lot of (very friendly) local residents about their concerns.
Residents expressed concerns over a range of issues, with many worried about Wandsworth Council's poor record on tackling fly-tipping and cleaning the local streets. The afternoon was a great success, even with the rain, which hit right in the middle of the session, drenching us to the bone! I'd like to thank all those who gave up their Sunday afternoon to help me help Tooting residents. |
