Less than two weeks to go until the Springfield Development goes before the Planning Application Committee.

It isn’t every community that can muster up 200 people willing to spend two hours on a Thursday night discussing a planning application; but Tooting isn’t just any community.

Your actions last night, and in recent weeks, speak volumes as to the strength of feeling in the local community about the Springfield Development.

My own objections have already been submitted, and you can read them here, but I’m not stopping yet – I’m going to keep going up until the very end to ensure that Wandsworth Council know that this community will not let the current plans to go ahead.

If you’ve written a letter already ask your neighbours if they have. If they haven’t make sure they do. If not go to the next hour down and ask the same question.

This is the one of the biggest developments planned in Tooting for over a decade, and will affect thousands of residents. Your voice is important, so please add it to the hundreds of local residents who have already objected to the plans.
