Interesting to see David Cameron jumping to support Labour's action to bring empty properties back into use. No mention in his announcement today of his vote against the Empty Dwelling Management Orders that Labour introduced to give local authorities the power to do just this. Nor his party’s opposition to the building of affordable homes, or his commitment to cutting local authority funding by £240 million, which will hit services like this. Funny that… |
