Excellent news for all those who have supported the campaign to stop the re-development of the RACS building on Upper Tooting Road.

"We’ve received confirmation from Planning at Wandsworth
Council that they have received an email from Barrowfen Properties
WITHDRAWING the application to demolish it.
A huge thank-you to every one of you who wrote in, campaigned,
leafleted and generally offered moral and practical support of one kind
or another.
This is a victory for the voice of the community, coming together in a common cause to defend the things we value. Thank you."
Brilliant news, and a testament to our local community, which has once again stood up to an unpopular and unwanted development.
