Springfield Hospital planning application submitted
Thursday, 23 September 2010 17:09

Springfield Hospital has now submitted a new planning application to Wandsworth Council.

While a number of improvements have been made on the planning application that was originally rejected, Sadiq still has serious reservations about the plans, and as they stand, he will not be supporting the planning application.

Sadiq has outlined the reasons for this in his most recent letter to the Springfield Hospital Programme Director, Andrew Simpson, dated September 3rd 2010 (which you can read here).

A planning leaflet is being distributed which outlines the plans and the process by which residents can comment on them. If you have not received this brochure, you can download it here or by calling Richard Evans at Wandsworth Council’s Planning Service on 0208 871 6632.

Comments can be made by email ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ), on Wandsworth Council’s planning website (www.wandsworth.gov.uk/planning) or in writing to: The Planning Service, Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London, SW18 2PU.

When making comments (or accessing the planning website) you will need the reference numbers for the planning applications.  These are:

2010/3703 – Main planning application
2010/3706 – Consent to demolish listed buildings.

All comments must be received by November 1st 2010.
