| Sadiq launches 'Taste of Tooting' competition |

Tooting MP Sadiq Khan has launched his inaugural 'Taste of Tooting' competition to promote restaurants, cafes and takeaways in Balham, Earlsfield, Furzedown, Graveney, Tooting and Wandsworth Common.Local residents will be able to vote for their Best Restaurant, Favourite Cafe and Tastiest Takeaway, with a winner and two runner-ups for each category.
Voting will take place over the next month, to July 31, with the winners and runner-ups announced the following week. Constituents can cast their votes at Sadiq’s website: www.sadiqkhan.org.uk/tasteoftooting.
Every constituent who votes is also entered into a draw, the winner of which will receive a £50 meal voucher at the local restaurant, cafe or takeaway of their choice.
Sadiq Khan MP said: ‘The constituency of Tooting is full of vibrant, interesting and diverse restaurants, cafes and takeaways. This competition is an opportunity to celebrate these different palates and truly taste all that Tooting has to offer.’
