NHS changes "It is difficult to overstate the public opposition to the Health and Social Care Bill, from doctors, nurses, patients and the wider public. We left the government with a health service that had never been more popular – and the message from the vast majority of people could not be clearer: hands off our NHS. The government has ignored this message and is ploughing on with these destructive reforms regardless of public opinion or expert opposition to the plans. Until then we will work around the clock to change the Bill and protect our NHS." |
