| Celebrating success at Chestnut Grove |

 Last night I was delighted to be able to join an extremely inspiring presentation night at Chestnut Grove school in Balham.
Of course I am proud of the 98% A*-C grades, the fact that they are 7th most improved school for value added in country and the "outstanding" OFSTED inspection. But what really excited me was the teamwork that the Head (Mrs Peacock), teachers, support staff, parents, governors, neighbours have cultivated with the students to fulfil their potential.
Young people often get a hard time, so it really was wonderful to spend an evening hearing the success stories in our own community - thank you to all who make this school so great.
