Sadiq finished the 10K Great Capital Run in 50 minutes 51 seconds, coming 1791th out of over 11,000 runners. The event raised thousands of pounds for Help a London Child, which provides grants organisations which help thousands of disadvantaged and vulnerable children throughout the city. |
Inspired by visits to sports day at many schools recently - and the impending Olympic Games! - Sadiq proved it's not just Tooting's schoolchildren and elite athletes who can produce excellent performances on the running track.
