From 1st April a thousand swimming pools throughout the country,
including Tooting Leisure Centre and Balham Leisure Centre,  will offer
free swimming for people aged 60 and over, and for children aged 16 and
under.

This is all part of Labour's promise to help get two million people more
active by the time London hosts the Olympics and Paralympics in 2012.  I
met up with the swimmer Mark Foster, world record holder and Strictly
Come Dancing star, who is
launching the new initiative.

Promoted by Tooting Labour Party on behalf Sadiq Khan and Tooting Labour Party, all of 273 Balham High Road, London, SW17 7BD. Hosted by 34SP.com, 349 Bury Old Road, Manchester, M25 1PY.
