Sadiq Khan MP has been campaigning with parents and teachers across Balham and Tooting to make local streets safer for our children. So far his Safer Streets campaign has led to safety improvements at five schools in the area. Sadiq has received complaints from parents about road safety on Boundaries Road and Chestnut Grove. There are several schools in the area, and there were worries about the speed of traffic and the effectiveness of existing safety measures. Sadiq has asked Wandsworth Council to investigate building a safe crossing on the junction between Boundaries Road and Chestnut Grove. Sadiq needs your help to force Wandsworth Council to introduce the crossing and make Balham’s streets safer. To support the campaign write to or email Sadiq here |
