Tooting residents were given a chance to grill their Cabinet Ministers at a special reception in the House of Commons this week.  tn_sadiqhazel.jpg

Over 150 residents, including representatives from local schools, businesses, charities and the fire service, packed out the Jubilee Room in the Houses of Parliament. 


Sadiq Khan had organised the reception for subscribers to his weekly email bulletin, which keeps Tooting residents up to date with his work in Parliament and in Tooting.

Special guests at the reception included the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, Hazel Blears MP, the Secretary of State for Justice, Jack Straw MP and Dawn Butler, Member of Parliament for Brent South.
